Understanding Corporate Climate and Nature Strategies and the Role of Tropical Forest Protection

Our new white paper “Understanding Corporate Climate and Nature Strategies and the Role of Tropical Forest Protection” provides an in-depth analysis of emerging best practice for corporate climate and nature strategies, supported by real-world examples. The aim is to give sustainability professionals and senior executives a clear definition of what claims such as net zero, carbon neutral and nature positive mean, and how different companies are using them.  

Our paper also aims to show how high-ambition companies can support their chosen climate and nature strategies through purchasing high-integrity emissions reduction credits from national and large-scale REDD+ initiatives.  

This is an approach strongly recommend by the Science Based Targets initiative, which recently called for companies to invest in high-integrity emissions reductions credits from large-scale tropical forest protection programmes as a matter of urgency.
